Built-in 1885, the Hood County jail was used for both city and county prisoners. The historic building contains two floors, the first floor including the Sheriff’s living quarters and the second floor where the cells for prisoners are located. Check out one of the fastest-growing microbreweries in Texas that is a family-owned business founded by a father and son. Every Saturday at noon, you can tour the brewery and enjoy a beer tasting of the seasonal and staple flavors, or grab a snack and enjoy the many live bands that perform at the brewery’s music venue. Admission for the tour is $10 for every person over 18. The entry includes:
